Leaders

Serving God inside of the student ministry is one of the greatest ways to be involved at Bridgetown . Working with middle and high school students can seem daunting, but the reality is that by joining the student ministry team you can have a great impact on the lives of students inside our community.

There are many ways to get involved, from running errands, leading a discussion group, chaperoning events, to planning events and helping with programming. The best part about being involved is that everything begins with a First Serve. This means that if you get to take a “test drive” in the area you think you may enjoy serving before you make a commitment.

The commitment time for being involved can range from 2 hours a month to 5 hours a week. It may even mean that you take a whole week off of work or quit your job, and go to camp with students or lead a mission trip. Your involvement with the student ministry is based upon your willingness and the hours you have available.

After you decide what area you are willing to commit your time and energy and you pass a nationwide background check you are ready to begin serving!
