Book Fair
Joy Child Care is hosting our first book fair and all who wish to attend are invited! We will be here TODAY Sunday May 11th AND Sunday May 18th if you wish to view the selection. The fair will include books for ages 18 months through grade 2 and also over 50 Christian titles. The proceeds from this event will go toward expanding the Joy Child Care classroom library. Summer Picnic & New Minister Reception
Mark your calendars for the All-Church Picnic on June 1, 2008 at Fernbank Park. We have the Riverview Shelter reserved. Events begin at 1:30; the meal will begin at 2:00 and be followed by a cake reception for the Hardesty family and then more games and fun. The church will provide hamburgers and hot dogs. We would ask that church attendees contribute one or two side dishes and everyone bring drinks for your family.
Everyone is invited to enjoy the afternoon in the park. If anyone would like to lend us your cornhole set for the afternoon, it would be put to good use. Please call or email the church office if you have a set we may borrow. Also, please RSVP by calling or emailing the church (513.574.1111 or info@my-church.com); this will help us to estimate how much food we will need to provide for the meal. Mark your calendar and pray for good weather!
Camp-Can-Do Program
Woodland Lakes Christian Camp is asking for contributions of aluminum foil and/or brown sugar for the upcoming summer camp which begins June 8. Items contributed would need to be at BCC by May 18. There will be a box at the Information Table. Thank you in advance for your help for the summer camp.
Angel Food Ministries
Angel Food Ministries are now taking orders for May. Your order needs to be placed by no later than 1:00pm on Sunday May 18. If you are interested in volunteering on our distribution day, Saturday, May 31, please sign up at the info table or contact the office.
B-Town Game Night
Back by Popular Demand... Friday, May 16th, BCC is throwing an “old school” game night. The fun will begin around 6:30pm and will go until midnight. Everyone, young and old, married and single, with or without kids is invited. This is an evening to hang out and enjoy time spent together. The church will provide drinks and snacks throughout the evening, but you will need to bring a takeout dinner with you and OF COURSE you’ll need to bring your board games and cards.
